ABOUT charm harness & boot

Charm Harness & Boot was founded in 1982 by Roy Miller, selling Red Wing shoes and horse tack. Over the decades the shop has expanded and sons Allen, Leroy and David joined the business. Now the third generation is lending a hand, as Allen’s daughter, Arie Ann, is in charge of apparel and his nephew, Jay Mark, handles customer service.


From hiking shoes and work boots to summer sandals and cowboy boots, we carry quality brands. And we specialize in custom shoe fitting so you will walk out with the best fit and most comfortable footwear.


When we moved into our new building in 2004, we also expanded our offerings and added more ladies’ and children’s fashion brands, as well as apparel and accessories. In 2017, we opened the CHB Bargain Post across the street as a clearance store. In our main store, we offer two sales every year: a spring sale in mid-April and a fall sale during Charm Days the second weekend in October.

We are like a big city store with a small town atmosphere. Our expansive showroom is 8,200 square feet, plus we have an extra 12,000-square-foot storage area so if a certain style or size is not on the shelf, there is a good chance we still have it in stock.

  • Do you also carry shoes and sandals?

    Though our name is Charm Harness & Boot, we carry hundreds of shoes and sandals, as well as leather belts, purses and clothing.

  • Do you carry safety toe shoes?

    Yes, we carry both men and ladies safety toe shoes and boots. 

  • Do you offer shipping?

    Yes, we ship our products via UPS.

  • Do you have sales?

    Yes! We have two big sales every year: a spring sale in mid-April and fall sale the second weekend in October.

  • Do you offer shoe repair?

    Yes, we do general shoe repair, re-heeling and re-soling of anything from work shoes to Western boots. We also offfer build-ups.
